Nintendo’s latest release managed to sell an additional 48,208 units, while the Switch remains the top-selling console.
Famitsu, the Japanese magazine, has revealed the list of best-selling physical games and consoles in Japan for the week of September 30 to October 6, 2024.
In terms of games, there haven’t been many surprises this time, with The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom reclaiming the top spot, selling 48,208 units and bringing its total sales in Japan to 248,329.
The most notable new entry on the list is Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, which takes second and third place with its Switch and PS5 versions, selling a combined 23,483 copies.
On the console side, the Switch continues to dominate, with 63,807 units sold across its three models. The Switch OLED remains the most popular, with 38,451 units sold.
